A.W.A.R.D.S.

Until mid '99 (when my site was in existence just over a year), it had really not occurred to me that someone would find my refuge worthy of web site awards! But then I was sent my first awards by Daisy, not having sought them but just because she DID find my site worthy! I then got daring and applied for a few select other awards I really wanted, and lo and behold, I received those as well! I realized I was getting enough to put them on a separate page and am pleased to display them below.

By the way, because my refuge has been given so many of these nice awards, I felt I wanted to offer one of my own to sites I felt deserved it. A sample of "The Breath of Spring Award" is shown below. THANKS to Susan of Lil Kitty Graphics for creating this award (I had her beautiful graphics site linked here but it unfortunately has vanished from the Net sometime in '06). I have decided it can not be applied for; rather, I will give this award to sites I come across whose beautiful and inspirational qualities strike me as being a "breath of spring"!
